Privacy Policy

Nourish Align Renew ("we", "us") is operated by Cris Brown, based in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and the services we provide, how we use it, where it is stored and the choices you have. It is written to meet the requirements of Canada's PIPEDA, the EU and UK GDPR, Australia's Privacy Act and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, as well as applicable US state privacy laws.

What we collect, and why

When you buy a service

Your name, email address and billing country, collected by Stripe at checkout together with a reference that records the agreement version and time of acceptance. Card details are entered on Stripe's secure pages and are handled by Stripe only; we never see or store them.

When you book a call

Your name and email address, so we can confirm the booking and send reminders. Booking forms never ask for health details.

When you contact us

Your name, email address and the message you send. Please do not include health details in the contact form.

When you visit the site

If analytics are enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. Nothing on this site sets cookies. The site keeps a few things in your own browser and never sends them to us or anyone else: your currency choice and your sample-checklist ticks (until you clear your browser); and, for the current tab only, a "canalt" referral tag if the lab sent you here, the details you type on the agreement page (name, email, time of acceptance) so the thank-you page can show them, the helper chat transcript, and counters that stop the helper and notices repeating.

What we do not collect on this website

No health information: no intake details, symptoms or lab results are collected on this website, in the contact form, in booking pages or in our reminder system. Health information shared during your work with Cris is kept in her client platform, separately from this site.

Legal bases

We process your information to perform the contract you enter when you buy or book (purchases, bookings, instructions); to meet legal obligations (tax and accounting records); for our legitimate interests in keeping the site secure and understanding how it is used in aggregate; and, for call recordings, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How we use your information

• To deliver the service you bought, including sending instructions, booking links and reminders
• To keep a record that you accepted the client agreement and to send you a copy with your instructions
• To process payments and send receipts through Stripe
• To answer your questions
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Where your information is kept

• This website is hosted on SafeGuard Hosting servers in Canada, which process IP addresses and request logs for security. It holds no personal data of its own.
• Payments and agreement references are held by Stripe (Stripe Payments Canada, with data processed in Canada and the United States).
• Bookings are held on our booking system, hosted in Canada.
• Email is handled by our mail provider on the nourishalignrenew.com domain.
• Reminders for Cris are kept in Asana as tasks that contain only your name, the service and a due date.
• Clinical records are kept in Cris's client platform, which has its own privacy terms.

Some of these providers process data outside your country. Where they do, we rely on their standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Agreement records and purchase details are kept for as long as our records policy and tax law require, so that they are available in the event of a payment dispute. Contact-form messages are deleted once your question is resolved, unless you become a client.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your data protection authority; in Canada, to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Session recordings

Cris may ask to record a call so she can prepare an accurate summary. You can decline, or ask her to stop, at any time without affecting your service. Recordings and transcripts are processed privately, are not shared, and are deleted once the summary is written.

Children

Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS with strict security headers. Payments are handled by Stripe. Our booking system and mail are hosted in Canada with regular backups. If we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and update the date at the top.
